pteale 0
I recently decided to give Evernote another try and logged in to my account and noticed I have a note from many years ago shared to an email I no longer have access to I want to delete this note so I can start fresh, how do I do delete an old shared note when move to trash is greyed out? Level 5 PinkElephant 5,174 Posted June 28, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted June 28, 2022 You can't. Shared notes needs to be unshared before they are deleted. If not, the shared note gets "orphaned" in the receiving account. It can't be unshared, because the original no longer exists. But they can't be deleted, because the sharing link was broken. The best we found is to set up a "lost notes" notebook, move them there and forget them. Hopefully EN will present a solution one day. Link to comment
