Evernote 10.34.1 for Android

For some time now I have not been able to view attachments to notes on Evernote for Android;  everytime i try to open one the system returns an error popup (Cannot download attachment) and this thing is frustrating!  My version of Evernote is up to date and I have a smartphone running Android 12

I have the same problem - partly. Some attached files can be opened, some can't. Haven't tested the app so much yet, so can't say yet if it's a random problem or with some kind of pattern.

I am forced to open the attachments on my Chromebook in Evernote web which works great for the moment

It is very important that you have enabled access to storage for the Evernote app in your phone settings. My wife just changed that setting and attachment downloading now works.
