AWallace 1
I just recently downloaded the Evernote app to my Macbook Pro. I noticed that when I click a link in my Evernote, it won't go to the link in my browser, it just goes to the Evernote dashboard. I checked the links and they are there. My Evernote for iphone works fine. Help! 1 Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,780 Posted June 9, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted June 9, 2022 You should explain with more details what you want to do. Are this hyperlinks in clipped web articles pointing to other articles, are they links internally created in EN ? If they are internal links - are they app links or web links ? App links have the format evernote:///view/..... Web Links have this start sequence https://www.evernote.com/shard/..... Only web links will open in the browser. Link to comment
Boot17 1,536
@AWallace - Yes, please let us know more info -- what is the URL of the link that you are trying to click on? Does this happen with multiple different URLs? (How many different URLs have you tried.) I'm wondering if it's the same problem, or related to, this issue: Link to comment
JCollord 6
I am having the same problem. I have a note with a number of links to City, State, CDC, and Johns Hopkins Covid data that I refer to in the course of my work. I used to click a link and would get a note asking for approval to leave the Evernote site, and then it would take me to the web site. Now I just get back to the Evernote home page regardless of which link I click. Here is one URL example: https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#vaccinations_vacc-total-admin-rate-total Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,780 Posted June 13, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted June 13, 2022 There is a known bug for links that contain the word „home“. I don‘t see it in your URL, but maybe it is somewhere. If it is this, there are tickets pending. If not, maybe contact support. 1 Link to comment

SMCVICKER 0
I'm having the same issue, my links all contain the word "home". Is there are timeline for this bug fix? Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,780 Posted June 28, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted June 28, 2022 No, EN will only very rarely comment on timelines. They know the issue, and I hope as well they fix it soon. Link to comment
