Backspace key not working

I'm on Evernote Web (because I'm broke) and the backspace key randomly decides to only go back up to a certain point- which is consistently not far back enough for what I need. Any ideas?

Hi.  What device? Which version of Windows? What browser?  I've never had an issue with backspacing content that I'm editing...  What happens if you close the note and then re-edit to delete the unwanted text?
