(Archived) How to make the log in with a password

When I open de evernote application it demands me the password but I can reject the message in the x of box and read the notes and it's a problem when you use the computer at work because any person can read my personal information. Is it possible to impose a password to open the application?

Now the password is necessary for the synchronize but you can reject the message and read it.

The password is used to synchronize with your account. The data for your account is stored on the hard drive of your computer so that you can use it when you don't have networking. To prevent other people from accessing your Mac programs, we'd recommend that you enable the "screen lock" feature of OS X. On my MacBook, the screen will lock and require my password after a few minutes of inactivity.
