Is there a way to copy just the highlighted text?

I'm using Evernote Legacy on PC

I have a note with highlighted text.

Does anyone have a workflow that can copy (or create a new note) using just the highlighted text?

Hi.  You mean other than selecting the same text and copy/ pasting it into a new note?  No.

Yes that what I have to currently do. Copy all text then manually delete anything thats not highlighted.
Might be faster if there was a web tool to do this.

I can use word but it's clunky

In legacy (v. 6), try Win + A to copy the selection and put it into a newly created note automatically--if I understand you rightly.
