Version 11.38.0 -- New Version Release Issue

I got notified just now that there was a new version released and it asked if I wanted to upgrade and I said 'Yes'.

This is the new version that it installed -- Version 11.38.0.

I'm pretty sure the last version that I had was 10.36.4. (https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058361833-Evernote-release-notes)

(This is a direct download and not through the app store.)

I'm thinking that I either hit some kind of time-warp or that there was some kind of accidental update oopsie that got pushed out...? (Hoping for some kind accidental update issue.)

LOL - looks more like someone typed '11' when they meant '10',  but good luck with that - if you have a visit from the Time Cops plead the 5th.  I'll flag this thread to see if the local people know anything...

Thanks again for this report. We have stopped the auto-updates to this version.  Please uninstall version 11.38 and install the current GA version, 10.36 from https://evernote.com/download. 

After reinstalling version 10.36 you should not see another prompt to update to version 11.38.

Also seeing the same issue.  I have close to 10K notes.  If I uninstall the app, will EN have to rebuild a local copy of all those?

The local data will  be retained during the uninstall/reinstall process.

Counting the versions up that way looks like a severe case of „Fat Finger Syndrome“ 🤣
