minnehaha 0
When viewing a PDF and deciding I want to move it into my EN A new note I use this process: >>Apple Preview >Print>PDF pull down list>Save pdf to EN which now comes up with "print workflow" dialog behind the active pdf screen. This used to work and is (has been) my usual method of getting pdf's into my EN. Why am I no longer able to use the pull-down option in my Preview>PRINT pull down? What next steps do I take to create the note(s)? Drag and drop onto the EN Icon in my Dock? Thanks-Minnehaha Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,103 Posted May 5, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted May 5, 2022 When I look at my Print to pdf menu, I see Evernote 2 times. One is called "Evernote", the other "Save pdf to Evernote". The first (short) option saves the pdf into the v10 Mac client. The second (long) option saves into the EN legacy client. This seems to be the one installed on your Mac. Both sync the new note then to the cloud server, so in the end if you use both options, you get 2 notes with the same content on all devices. No idea why the legacy option stopped for you. You can try to use the last option "Edit menu ..." to dump and then reinstall the "Print to pdf" option. Link to comment
