fesafesafesw 0
I dont like seeing unread notifications as it makes me think that I forgot to do something. I just downloaded this software after switching from onenote because that too had annoying "what's new" messages that required mouse clicks to dismiss. This is more acceptable but why not let us hide it all together? Tool tips and other acts of unsolicited forms of communication by developers are generally annoyances to me, and I'm sure to others as well. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 6,210 Posted May 3, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted May 3, 2022 Where is the problem ? Click it open, confirm it, done. It will not come back, unless there is a new feature the devs think you should better know. This does not happen very often. Link to comment
Evernote Expert agsteele 2,339 Posted May 4, 2022 Evernote Expert Share Posted May 4, 2022 Because Evernote v10 is a completely new product, the What's New flag was considered an important piece in the communication with users moving from the old version of the software to ensure a smooth transition. Clearly that isn't an issue for a new user but in general possibly a wise process. I don't see the new stuff flash much any more. Link to comment
