Hey,

Could you add another color for quote then light only? Im trying understand why there is only one color to choose?

Nowadys as you know there are a lot of developers, devops and so on which making code. Many of this keep it in the notes. Im part of it. We really need other color quote than light. It make our work much easier and it's more readable. Based on other notes many part of them has a lot of code formatingto choose like cherrytree, highlight plugin to onenote and so on. That why many developers, devops or other people use them.

This may sound funny to you, but it's one of the most important things when writing a code. Some people like light colors and some people like dark colors. I will give you one example. It's Terraform code.

The Evernote has been creating for a long time and im still wondering where the problem is that there is still one color for quote codes.

Is that really hard to implement that "feature" ??

It would be really great if you added more then two colors.

EN is a note taking app, which allows to insert a code block into a text. A code block is simply another format, monospaced, easy on the eye. It is no code editor, doing automatic coloring, nor does it pretend to compete with such a specialized tool.

If you need this feature, you can use an editor of your choice, and embed the file into a note. Personally I use COT Editor on my Mac.

Changes can be proposed to EN PM through the feedback function of the clients. Personally I doubt EN is going to build something complex around the code block tool. But you never know.

Understand point of view but i don't mean formating but quote color only. Add one color more like dark. Just switch quote color, make background dark and gray subtitles or something similar. Let the people choice. As i said some people like light and some part of people like dark, that's all. Is it really so hard? It will help a lot for IT customers.

Here in the forum are only other users. As already suggested, use the feedback function if you want to propose something to EN staff.

Personally I understand why such a feature may be important to some people. On the other hand EN up to now has not reacted to any request concerning the new editor. I think they want to keep it lean and simple. Inside of a code block practically all formatting functions are turned off. No idea why, but there must be a reason.
