David Fry 1 Posted April 12, 2022 Posted April 12, 2022 At least once a day I get a dialog on Safari on my Mac OS laptop and my Mac OS desktop asking that I restart the browser because of an update to the Evernote Clipper plug-in. For several weeks I have been dutifully restarting Safari as requested but now I think I’m being punk’d and I’ve just started canceling the dialog. BTW, the Clipper plug-in is working fine for me. Has anyone else seen this behavior? 1
Level 5 PinkElephant 9,004 Posted April 12, 2022 Level 5 Posted April 12, 2022 Which versions of Safari and WebClipper are you running ?
David Fry 1 Posted April 12, 2022 Author Posted April 12, 2022 I'm using version 15.3 of Safari and version 7.20.0 of the Evernote Clipper extension. Thank you.
Level 5 PinkElephant 9,004 Posted April 12, 2022 Level 5 Posted April 12, 2022 Maybe you can solve the problem by upgrading. Current versions are 15.4 for Safari and 7.21 for the WebClipper. If this does not solve the problem, I would uninstall and reinstall the Web Clipper extension.

Level 5 PinkElephant 9,004 Posted May 7, 2022 Level 5 Posted May 7, 2022 The notification is from the extension, and to make it go away you usually just need to update. WebClipper as all Safari extensions is only available through the AppStore.
