Can we modify a template in free version?

I'm using "Daily Reflections", in which the template has an additional set of questions with boxes for copy - paste (I don't know how one can copy - paste the boxes) which is not necessary because next day, one can apply a template again on the next page. 

I want to get rid of this additional set.

No, saving own templates is a subscriber privilege.

What you can do instead: Create a note to your liking, save it. Mark it maybe as shortcut note, or place it in a „Templates“ notebook,,and put this to shortcuts. When you want to use it, select the note and then duplicate it. Edit the duplicate.

This works similar to a saved template. You can speed it up by a series of keyboard shortcuts.
