How to copy paste templates having boxes?

When I chose the"Daily Reflections" template, it advises to copy paste the template in the next new note. 

When I copy & paste in the new note, boxes are not copied but only the text. 

How to get the boxes after pasting?

You say nothing about the OS and client used.

When I open a new note with this template, select a block including "boxes" (which are 1x1 tables), copy it and paste it on top of the note, or elsewhere, the tables are copied with the rest of the selection. No problem on my devices.

To take a deeper look, please post more information.
