Hello,

This is my first time posting. So please be kind I'm not a techie person and I dont know what I should give up front.

My new phone is a samsung galaxy a10e, im running a version 9.My phone is brand new and the wifi signal is strong.

But heres my problem.

I just download the app on a new phone and went to sign in with the google sign-in option. The option comes up but it will not allow me to click or sign in with another account. The sign in box doesnt register my taps. At first i thought it was a screen issue. But all other apps work fine in every section of my keyboard screen and I'm able to login for evernot google sign in via web.

Now, I have tried re-downloading the app., restarting my phone., updated any software on my phone and I tried on my old phone as well. My old phone is a samsung galaxy jstar 3. I been login in on that phone since 2019. I logged out for the first time today and I have that same problem on that device now. The google sign in not working and not allowing me to select or add an account. Both apps on both phones will not allow me to sign in with the google sign in option. And i need that option because all of my notes is on that account.

What can i do?

And no im not getting an error message ir just not working.

Free account ? Or on a subscription ?

Have you tried a login with your original mail address and password ? You may have forgotten it - but it is not possible to create an account just using the „sign in with Google / Apple“ option. You must have used an e-mail and a regular password at least the first time when you created the account.

My phone is ASUS Zenfone Pro Max M2. I have encountered the same situation today. After resetting, it has been updated to the latest version of Android. Google Play Store APP has also been updated. Searching for Evernote in Google store shows that it can be installed as long as Android 6.0 or above is used. However, after installation, there is no option to log in with a Google account. After searching online and changing the language to English, although the option to log in with a Google account appears, I still cannot log in with a Google account.

Can you say which version of Evernote you are attempting to use?  If you are on Android 10 or above it will be a version10.x of Evernote.  If you are on Android 9 or lower it will be an old version of Evernote.

You may need to open a support ticket.  Since Android 9 isn't receiving any updates and neither is Evernote 8.13.3 you shouldn't be experiencing problems suddenly. Could it be a networking issue? A block at your Internet Service Provider might trigger this. Could they have decided to block access to Evernote?

My phone is also Android 9 and I have Evernote 8.13.3. I have confirmed that my network connection is working properly. Other apps such as Google Drive, Office 365, and Dropbox can all be logged into and used normally.

Any need to login with ... (anything) ?

The app stores the login - you don't need to enter it all the time. This reduces the benefit from the indirect login a lot. Using the direct login takes away an additional layer of action, and removes another player from the login sequence.

I would skip the "login with" procedure, and go directly to the regular user login.

Troubleshooting this indirect login problems can be difficult.

Because I reset my phone to factory settings and re-downloaded Evernote from the Google Store, I can no longer log in to Evernote with my Google account. However, I can operate Evernote normally from a browser on my PC.

In addition, I initially used my Google account to log in to Evernote and cannot log in as a regular user.
