selecting note selects location in left panel

I seem to remember that when selecting a note, the notes location in the left panel was also selected. I think this was an option.

Maybe I'm making this up?? Is there a way to get this behavior??

It would be helpful to know how you are selecting the note without using the note list. The two ways I can think of are:

• Using a shortcut or recent note from the side panel or a link from home.  Here you don't even get the note list yet alone your position in it!
• Clicking an internal link within another note. This seems most likely. The notes location in the list is highlighted it's just not scrolled so that you can see it. Unfortunately I have never been able to find a way of revealing the position in the note list.

As the first bullet point illustrates, EN do not seem keen for you to be able to see a note in the context it was created in.

Yeah... that was it. It was useful, especially when you re-organize your Evernote stack/notebook/note organization.
