Better sketching abilities

A simple stylized sketching tool (replacing the current one) would be great. It works great for tablets and phones with drawing but for PC it is simply not functioning. 

I believe this can be improved quite easily by adding some simple features like basic shapes, arrows. 

Reason:

We try but cannot use Evernote for design documents. It would be great to showcase a development logic visually or a mockup for UI/UX departments or for creating flowcharts etc.

Good idea, would help with creating better sketches. You can send it directly to EN PM through the feedback function.

However I would not use it for formal drawings. Since it has an infinite canvas and a continuous zoom, documents will look messed up easily. Imagine a organization chart, all boxes different size and not snapped to grid. And it won’t print.

For this better use more professional solutions.

The sketch of EN was very "Advance" at the time of beginning.  But that was long long time ago.  EN never upgrade this tool.  Comparing the others nowadays, the annotation fonts and marks is very "Ugly" and waste the advantage of phone or pad.  Of course it can be much better on desktop.  What a waste of an advance function and now become an encumbrance.

You are right and wrong at the same time.

What you probably mean is „Skitch“, still available as a standalone app, and the basis for the annotation tools. Pretty basic, you feel it’s age, but build to work in a layer above of another document.

There is a new feature called „Sketch“. This was introduced with v10. It is a graphic tool, build to draw and maybe write a little on an endless (very large) canvas. Modern, pretty good, but it can’t be used to annotate any other document. It only works on its own „paper“.

So say what you want to say, but don‘t call Apples Bananas.
