can you personally customize note and notebook orders? maybe on mobile, you can long-press to move it around or kinda like the way youtube music helps you rearrange your music.

I don't believe you can organize your notes in a random order.

Only by date created, updated, and by title.

Interesting idea, though.

Evernote is all about creating order and control, not the opposite.

In legacy there was the Context feature: When you opens a note, other notes showed at the bottom of the page for which an algorithm believed they may be related. Most often straight forward, in some cases surprising. The feature was permanently removed when v10 launched - probably it had not that many users (or created too much Server load).

If you had a few notes, it could work to have a custom/manual sort order, but when you start getting hundreds and thousands of notes and dozens of notebooks and hundreds of tags returned by different lists, views, and filters... it seems like it would be hard to manage a manual sort order.
