Open Excell file paste in note

Hi,

Unable to open directly a Excell file paste in a  Note in Excell mobile application.

(All apps uptodate)

I've to save on local the file, every time to open it. Works well before ...

Have parameters changed since Last update of Evernote ?

AFAIK the v10 mobile client does not allow to open attached files directly. They only can be viewed inline.

Not sure about Android. On iOS to open it needs to be saved or shared to the appropriate app. Changes need to be saved locally in that app.

To get them back into EN, the new file must be reimported into EN, presumably into the same note as before.

To kick in as an Android user I just tested @Captain62's use case on EN10.27 app with Excel-file. Clicking once on the attachment (view mode) does open the excel/office app but it closes immediately. Obviously EN app does not handle the handover of the file correctly anymore. If I remember correctly this (opening office attachment right out of the note) worked before - except for PDF files which open inline-only which alone could be a reason to change the note app 😉 )
