Web clipper for Chrome - marker doesn't work in screenshot

The marker appears, looking as if it's available, but all that happens is my cursor has a marker icon. I can't get the marker to start, with my touchpad or my finger (Lenovo Yoga with touchscreen). Anybody else have this problem? Chrome version is 98.0.4758.82 (Official Build) (64-bit).

I'd imagine you should tap and hold the screen where the marker should begin,  and then drag to where it should end.  It works with my left mouse click,  but maybe not with your touch software.  OS / Browser / EN version?
