Why am I getting pop-up errors related to Evernote with Chinese characters??

This has happened more than once, and the characters change in both appearance and location. Is this a sign of a corrupted, or even infected installation?? McAfee and Malwarebytes scans haven't found anything, but that doesn't necessarily mean I'm free and clear.

Hi.  It's not an issue that's been reported before (AFAIK) - maybe just uninstall the app,  restart your device and reinstall?  If you have a lot of notes it may take a while for Evernote to rebuild your installation.  Give it an hour or two when you can...

I have also gotten that error. I think this is actually the second time I have seen it on the Windows desktop app. It makes me a little nervous with all the cybercrime stuff recently. Granted, my antivirus hasn't found anything wrong, either, but it's still nails on a chalkboard creepy.

I just received the same error while using Chrome.  I did not update Evernote or doing anything today except look up notes.
