Hi all,

We’re excited to announce a new feature: Evernote notifications for Google Calendar events! When you have Evernote and Google Calendar connected, Evernote can now remind you when it’s time to take meeting notes, or open an existing note, so you never miss a detail.

Event notifications give you a prompt shortly before your meetings, at the moment they start, or right after they end, so you’ll never forget to take notes or need to hunt down material you’ve prepared in advance.

  • Take better notes—Click or tap the notification to create a preformatted meeting note that automatically fills in details from your calendar, like name, date, and attendees.
  • Be ready for action—Instantly open an existing note connected to your meeting and find all your relevant info in one place, ready to go.
  • Get more done—Follow up, assign tasks, and capture next steps quickly and easily.

To give it a try, first make sure you have the calendar widget enabled in Home, and have a Google Calendar connected. Then follow these steps:

Make sure you have allowed Evernote to send notifications to your device. Notifications should be enabled for each device and/or browser where you use Evernote. Visit this article to learn more.

To manage or customize your calendar event notifications, click or tap on the More Options icon (three dots) from the calendar widget and select Calendar settings. Visit this article to learn more.

If you 're looking to connect multiple calendar accounts to Evernote so you can stay on top of both personal and work life, upgrade to Evernote Professional or Teams. Learn more about how to become a meetings mastermind on our blog

Take care,

Shane
