PLEASE give us the option to get rid of this. It takes up valuable real estate on my phone's screen....and I don't go to Evernote for warm fuzzies or to find out what day it is.

Exactly my sentiment. EN's past disappointments and its reliability in the future are still a going concern 😟 . . trying to give me a warm embrace with a "Good Evening, Mark!" is just stupidity at this point.

EN: Please remove or add option to edit the Home "message".

What a drama ! If EN would currently dedicate even a single dev hour to modify this nicety, yes, that I would call a stupidity.

Looking at 2 lonely posts in 4 months, I think the „Gooood 🎶 mooorning 🎶, dear user“ can rest now, leaving dev capacity to more pressing issues.
