Webclipper extension keeps on freezing Chrome

Webclipper extension (v7.18.0) keeps on freezing Chrome (v96.0.4664.110) on Windows 10 (v21H1 Build 19043.1415).
And it doesn't end up there: when i kill Chrome and then restart it, it starts already freezed.
I uninstalled then reinstalled both Chrome and the extension at least a couple of times but nothing changed.

I'm a Personal account subscriber, what am I paying for?

Hi.  Chrome is a Google product which updates quite frequently,  from time to time requiring add-ins like Clipper to adapt to system changes outside their control.  Evernote are aware that there are issues with the latest update - meantime as a subscriber you could raise this with support https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new

Meantime work arounds are to use a different browser / copy & paste content / screenshot pages rather than clipping.
