Evernote web clipper has stopped working on firefox and microsoft edge

The response says "Do to browser restrictions unable to clip the content."  I have not changed any settings on the browsers; have been able to clip and now cannot.

I try to find the settings that restrict the clipping and cannot figure that out.  If anyone can help me, please do and thanks!

This means that for reasons of its own,  the browser has restricted access to this page.  That's unlikely to be negotiable - but you can take a screen shot to preserve the content,  and the browser 'print' function may be able to give you a copy via a PDF file...

Thank you so much for replying gazumped.  I figured out that the restriction is because the doc is a pdf.  I can still clip from websites. So grateful for your help.Thanks.

Most of the time a pdf simply can be downloaded from a website.

In the web clipper settings you can activate an option to show a clipping symbol on pdf websites. To find it you need to scroll down in the settings view. When it shows, you can simply click on it to fetch the pdf and send it into EN.
