Search results should prioritize titles

TJ8756

Idea

When I search for a word, I want the notes that have that word in the title to come up first.  Having 45 notes returned that contain that word is annoying when I know what title I'm looking for and it's buried down the matching list.  That's a search fail in my book.   Fine if that's an search option.

Using the intitle: prefix will only show hits with the searched term in the note title.

intitle:coffee

will make you wake up. No space behind the colon !

Here is more on searching:

And about the search syntax:

Search is much more powerful than just dropping a word and hit enter. I prefer it clean and reproducible. If I need to drill down, search syntax has all the tools needed.

Personally I would not like EN to start messing with search results. It would make the search less transparent - they do a sort of likelihood estimate and rank the notes in the search results list accordingly. I think that is enough to usually find what was searched on the first page of search results.
