Previous version of the Evernote cleared search box after search shortcut (WIN + SHIFT + F). Now I need to clear it manually before every search.

I agree this is annoying. It's been discussed before. My best work around, if you want to use the keyboard, is to to do alt+ctrl+2 (open notes) first before then usng win+shift+F or alt+ctrl+F. Or you can do ctrl-A and then del. Whichever way it is still an extra step. I suppose EN feel that it's important to be able to edit an existing search rather than have to automatically start a new one every time.

Same here. Another great improvement of evernote with IA. So smart.

now we only need to (shift+winK+F)+(release)+[(shift+left) OR (ctrl+a)]

Evernote viene a ser como estar casado con una gorda fea que que hace que te preguntes ¿cuando me case yo con esto? y recuerdas que al principio era delgada, joven y guapa.

OK, but in this case, the current search phrase should be appended automatically by a simple Blank 😉

You've picked up on a very old thread but the issue is still there. As I stated before the counter argument is that you may well want to modify the existing search so deleting it everytime you use the shortcut may be unhelpful to some users.

Alt+ctrl+2 doesn't always delete existing searches/filters. I find a better method now is to go to home (alt+ctrl+1) and then run the search. Because Home doesn't have  a note list it seems to clear searches reliably
