engberg 89 Posted November 23, 2010 Share Posted November 23, 2010 I don't think we'd want to work around any restrictions from a hardware vendor like that, since that can be a painful "cat and mouse" game, which can waste many days of engineering effort.On the other hand, we'd love to see them open up their device so that their customers could install arbitrary Android applications. (I removed DRM from all my Napster downloads & all my ebooks. I paid for 'em & I'm not going to re-buy just because I now use a Kindle instead of a Palm TX. Or an iPod instead of a Rio.)
