Upgrade to continue using Evernote on this device for all devices

All of Sudden, I started receiving "Upgrade to continue using Evernote on this device" on my 2 registered devices (free account). I didn't do anything differently and the only option once the screen appears is to Upgrade or Sign out. My 2 devices are mobile and macbook, I tried to check out the web version and the same message appears. Since I've already tried to unlink devices because I started using evernote again this month and I had to remove old devices, I can not unlink anything anymore. So I can't use my account at all on any device. Any suggestions or should I just give up on Evernote?

Hi.  This may help - Understanding the device limit

Free users get most of the features of the app,  but subject to some fairly stringent limitations on access. 

If you need more,  then you would need to either subscribe or find an alternative...

The web client is counted as a device since October 2020. When you open it, it means yet another device to unsync.

The options are now to subscribe (which can be done for a single month) or wait for 30 days until the temporary lock will lift itself.
