Mark Turner 2
Hi - the ability to please set a default font size (e.g., 12, 14, 16) would be handy as I prefer a more traditional 12 but the system seems to always revert to 16 even after I've changed it within a note. -Mark Link to comment
0 Level 5 PinkElephant 8,107 Posted November 10, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted November 10, 2021 You need to use the text styles to change the font all over in a note. First change the font to whatever you like. Then select the changed text, tap on the Aa symbol in the editor, then on „Normal Text“ too left, then on the 3 dots behind Normal Text, and choose something like „Use formatting for Normal Text“. This will set all parts of the note formatted to be normal text to the new font setting. The change is only local, it won’t copy to another note. To use it globally you can first change the setting as above, and then save the note as a template. Whenever you open a new note, tap on templates and select this template from the MyTemplates view. It will then create the new note from the template, using the different font size. Or save the note, selecting it as a shortcut. Whenever you need a new note, duplicate this note. You gets virgin note with the same settings. 1 Link to comment
0 LucaBen 23
Problem is if you do that, all formatting (bold, italic, etc.) is lost. This is clearly not acceptable. Instead, I just want to modify the font size, and keep the formatting in place. Link to comment
