Evernote web version not fully supported for Mobile Devices

Recommended Posts

Although I frequently use the EN web version on my iPad Pro (latest software 15.1) over the last few days it no longer works but crashes each time I try to add a Note.  I’ve now tried this on another iPad & iPhone with the same result however when I used someone’s desktop (I only use an iPad Pro) the web version worked.

Having spent some time sending an EN log and discussing the problem with CUSTOMER SUPPORT I have been informed that “EN WEB IS NOT FULLY SUPPORTED FOR MOBILE BROWSERS” and recommended that I use the App Store App.

I do use the App Store App but it does not have the full functionality of the web version eg full functionality of Home Widgets or even Internal App Links for notes, as the App version only saves the https web address and as the web version then crashes isn’t useful.

I don’t know how to escalate this problem “EN WEB IS NOT FULLY SUPPORTED FOR MOBILE BROWSERS”  I became a Premium User so that I had full functionality of EN but now I’m told that I can’t rely on the many benefits of EN which I previously enjoyed for 10 years.  Just in case it helps I will add @iansmall

Thank you, Customer Support went through a number of checks including clearing Safari Cache and the AA request Desktop version which was already selected -  unfortunately no success but added that these issues arise from time to time - I just don’t know for how much time

To all Evernoters request for help! - I am trying all avenues to gather support for the following request

“Please enable selecting and pasting an Internal Note Link rather than a Weblink within the Mobile App”

As there is currently a problem with the EN web version for mobile it really highlights the value of an in app link as opposed to a web link ie evernote:///view rather than https://www.evernote.com/shard
