Performance/computer resource option: Evernote/Chrome combo vs Evernote 10 app on Windows 11

Recommended Posts

For a couple days now, I have be running the web version of evernote on my chrome browser to see if the impact on my laptop is less severe than running the v10 evernote app directly on my windows 11 OS.  It Seems to be less taxing on my computer and performance seems to be equal. As an app, my 4000 notes consume close to 700MB of memory with high power usage when I browse my notes.  Has anybody switched to web based EV until these perf issues are resolved? Are you seeing an appreciative benefit of running EV in a browser rather than the app?

Hi.  Have you fed back your poor experiences to Evernote Support?  They may be able to help you resolve the resource hogging - and if not,  your sharing your logs with them will help others on Win 11.
