Continuously losing access to a shared note

My wife has shared a note with me that we've used for nearly a year. Over the past two months or so, I've been losing access to the note. She has never tweaked sharing settings. She invites me, I accept, I can use the note for a few days, and then it's gone. I can even see it in the "Shared with Me" view multiple times, but clicking gives me, "You no longer have access to this note". I can simply have her add me again, but we're getting tired of fighting this bug. What can we do to correct it?

My wife and me share some information as well. We found it more convenient to share entire notebooks instead of single notes. The note is moved inside => It is shared, the note is removed => the sharing stops.

This works absolutely stable for us. Maybe give it a try.
