When will Evernote for macOS be built for M1 / universal app?

No clue.  And Evernote don't usually share whether,  or when they're likely to release specific updates.  You could ask Support...

If you search the forum, you find a lot of information already.

In short EN needs to update the underlying framework to support the M1 natively. As @gazumped said, EN does not comment on their plans. I assume they are already looking at it. Could happen tomorrow, in a month or maybe much later. Who knows 🤷‍♂️

Thanks for the quick responses. Makes sense. Fingers crossed that it'll happen soon, and that they implement some performance fixes at the same time as well 😆
