dgadoury 2
When adding a new note on iOS, only the first 6-8 characters are saving.- Evernote 10.19; iOS 15.0.2 Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,098 Posted November 1, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted November 1, 2021 Can you describe your problem with more detail ? I observe this when sending a file to EN on iOS, not when creating a note directly. Link to comment
dgadoury 2
Sure - I select create new note and type in the title "NYC Tax Dept Followup" and after saving it - the note now shows with a title of "NYC Ta". This happens with every new note regardless of characters, etc. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,098 Posted November 1, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted November 1, 2021 Can’t reproduce this. Check your update status: Currently it would be EN iOS 10.20 on iOS 15.1 (or 14.8). Next steps could be, in escalating order: log out, back in. Lo/Li, but switch the device completely off in between Log out, uninstall, switch off/on, reinstall, log in Or ask support. dgadoury 2
So, upgraded to iOS 15.1 ; Evernote deleted and installed new V10.20 Same issue - but here are screenshots of before and after Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,098 Posted November 1, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted November 1, 2021 Does it do the same if you added something to the notes body (a character etc.) ? Link to comment
dgadoury 2
So I tried entering text in the body, then the title - same result. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,098 Posted November 1, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted November 1, 2021 As I said, I can’t reproduce that, and I am not aware of any setting that would restrict the title length (I think there is a limit of somewhat 80 characters, not sure about it). Last resort: Ask support. For subscribers the ticket can be released from the iOS apps settings, tab support. Link to comment
