jfmusic 0 Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 I exported each Folder separately. Went to the Apple notes app and imported each. My Evernote shows 3491 My Notes shows 2329 I can't spot what I am doing wrong. The export writeup on the website says if I have created any folders then the default folder is now an All Folder. I have tried to make sure I exported and imported each and every folder. What am I missing? Thanks
Level 5 PinkElephant 9,011 Posted October 27, 2021 Level 5 Posted October 27, 2021 I would try it again, this time doing it notebook by notebook, checking the individual number of notes after each pass. Either it misses a third of the notes in every pass, or you can detect the point in the process where it really fails.
jfmusic 0 Posted November 7, 2021 Author Posted November 7, 2021 I have now re exported every single notebook, I took the time to create a spreadsheet with the count of each notebooks quantity. I then created a new user account to test into for Apple notes and again, my quants do not MATCH! Evernote says 3496, the spread sheet total Confirms then same number. I import into Apple notes and end up with 2300ish... How do I possibly export all my notes and back them up to Apple Notes.
Level 5 PinkElephant 9,011 Posted November 7, 2021 Level 5 Posted November 7, 2021 You want to back up ? Or you want to export ? This are completely different use cases. You need to check where the difference originates. So why not reimport the enex-files into EN and see if the count matches. If it does, you need to look at the Apple Notes import, else at the EN export.
