Sidebar stacks now collapsed by default on app open (no longer remember last collapsed/expanded state)

Recommended Posts

Anyone else experiencing this since 10.23 update? Never an issue before.

All stacks I'd keep expanded for easy access in the sidebar would remain expanded following any shut down, restart, or app quit. Now all default to collapsed.

Small but tedious little change-up. Hoping it can be addressed.

Yes, I noticed this UI change right away after the 10.23.7 update. It's quite annoying, since I use stacked notebooks all the time and prefer to leave them open and scroll down the sidebar, over having to constantly click to open! There should be a selectable option for this.

Bim, thanks for the bump.

I do still need this addressed as well, so I've submitted a support ticket and will report back with any info.

And just to note that the issue does persist with the latest Evernote update (v10.25.6) and macOS update to Monterey (v12.0.1).

Now fixed with the latest release.

Confirmed with latest update this morning. The stacked notebook now expands back on launch.
