Tabs and new windows

Please bring this ability back

Part of the utility of Evernote is using is as a large reference store. And to use that reference effectively there is a need to refer to more than one note at a time

The tabs are requested by many users.

As a workaround you can use the web client, it allows for several tabs.

You can have as many notes open in different note windows as you like. Double click the entry in the note list or right click and choose open in new window etc. (Sorry you will need to translate to mac)

Mac: Right click on any entry in the notes list - select "Open in new window". Or the same from the Note menu. No shortcut, I'm afraid ...

Yes I was shocked this feature was removed. The absence of tabs is annoying on a daily basis and inhibits productivity. Who wants more windows? Tabs are clean and facilitate task-switching and cross-referencing.
