JEFF L. 0
Sorry if this is a very rudimentary question: I want to delete some tags altogether and modify some tag's spelling/punctuation/capitalization. Seems like a simple ask, yet this engineer hasn't found a solution. Sometimes one can't see the forest through the trees. Any assistance is appreciated! Link to comment

Screenshots are from my Mac First, I switch to the Tags page by clicking the tag icon in the sidebar The Tags page has an icon at the top right for adding new tags I can also right-click on any tag Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,077 Posted October 19, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted October 19, 2021 Just a practical advise: Once you delete a tag altogether, all notes that were carrying it will loose it. You may have a hard time to identify these notes later. Say you have 3 tags with a similar meaning, and now want to join them under 1 of the tags. When you delete first, the notes are not showing any more. So sometimes it is a good idea to apply a temporary tag first, and then start changing things. If all temporary tags start with the same string, you can easily find them later, and remove them after the housekeeping job is done. 1 Link to comment
