PeterE4019 1
Evernote Mac client version 10.22 Want to move a note to another notebook, either using keyboard shortcut or clicking the "move note" icon. Popup/dialogue is displayed, but the list of notebooks is completely blank. (Picture is from GUI in Swedish.) - Tried to logout and delete all local files. - Tried to delete Evernote folder in ~/library - Tried to delete and reinstall Evernote app from web site Nothing works. But moving to another notebook is displaying my complete list of available notebooks. / Peter. Link to comment
Level 5 Solution PinkElephant 8,066 Posted October 11, 2021 Level 5 Solution Share Posted October 11, 2021 Tried this already ? Go to the Evernote menu, Preferences, and uncheck „Keep data when leaving“ Log out of EN (File menu), quit EN (cmd-q) If you want to be very sure, restart the Mac Open EN, log back in, wait for it to run an initial sync. All steps are important, don‘t skip any. Link to comment
emmafp 0
I’m having the same problem on the Mac and web client: no notebooks appear on ‘move note’ but they’re all in the sidebar and I can drag and drop. Link to comment

PeterE4019 1
The problem is back on Mac client. Can't use Evernote as it is now. I tried the proposed solution by PinkElephant again, but this time it doesn't work. / Peter Link to comment

Level 5 PinkElephant 8,066 Posted January 24, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted January 24, 2022 There is an alternative procedure: First quit the EN app on the Mac (not only close). Then Open Finder From the menu bar select Go > Go To Folder... Paste ~/Library/Application Support/ and press Go. If you don't find this directory, try ~/Library/Containers/com.evernote.Evernote/Data/Library/Application Support/ and press Go. Locate the folder titled Evernote and rename it to Evernote.old. Launch Evernote and try signing in. Link to comment
