james.exe 0 Posted October 7, 2021 Share Posted October 7, 2021 In a regular macOS application I expect CTRL+a to take me to the beginning of a line. In Evernote this selects the entire document. This is problematic as CTRL+a / CTRL+d to delete the first character of a line is something I expect to do, and do reflexively now and then. This becomes "delete the document contents". Given that I'd have to pay a wack more cash for document backups, this is a rather troublesome problem. 1 Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,076 Posted October 7, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted October 7, 2021 It is a bug, it was reported weeks ago (welcome to the party), they acknowledged it, they are working on it, no release date known. Sometimes it helps to search the forum when you have a problem, instead of simply dropping it here. For many issues there are workarounds and maybe even fixes. For this one the only workaround yet is not very practical, and for a fix we are all waiting. 1 Link to comment
