Evernote legacy: Sync stuck on Monthly upload limit for > 2 months now.

Using Evernote Free, 2 devices:

Using Evernote Legacy on Windows 10, 6.25.2.9198 (309198) Public (CE Build ce-62.6.10954)
Also have the Evernote app on Android

I updated many notes to reduce them in size, (as cleanup/preparation for Joplin import). Needed to use the Legacy version for this, so it's easy to sort on size, and I can export all notes.

But now the sync is stuck. I can imagine I made many changes (>60MB), so it hit the monthly limit. Then I waited until the new cycle, but the message did not disappear. Now another month has passed, and it is still stuck.

If I check my online account page:

Monthly Usage
49.2 MB (81%) remaining this month
Your monthly limit resets in 21 days

Monthly uploads: 60 MB
Note size limit: 25 MB

If I create new notes on my Android app, they do sync into the desktop version btw. This tells me I have the capacity again and the problem is in the desktop version. I would say the desktop version does not get informed a new month has arrived. 

Can anyone help me out?? 

Things I did already:

• sign out, sign in again
• create a note, move it to the trash, empty the trash
• on Ctrl-Help > Optimize database

Get a month of Personal, and do what you need to do.

If you value your time, you already spend more for this post than a month of personal costs.

How will that fix anything if the evernote-client clearly does not synchronize the account status information of the server?

The counter says how much you have already used. Let the next note in the syncing queue have 12 MB, 49MB used, and you are done for the month. It will not sync, because you would go above the limit, and it won’t let other pass by, because the syncing queue is exactly that, a linear waiting line. If a fat one is waiting for its turn, the slim ones behind it wait too.

With your activities you produce such a situation. You say you are simplifying notes, which means you are changing them. Every change means the note will be synchronized again - which runs against your monthly limit. Not a really good idea while using the Free Account.

My advise is done: Subscribe to lift the limit (Personal has 10GB monthly limit, which should do by all means), or wait for 30 days. If you have a long queue, it may well happen a few notes will sync, and then it stops again, for another 30 days. Your choice.
