Safari 15 Issues with EN Clipper

When I'm researching and encounter a website that is deemed: Unsecure (in the address bar), I can't clip to EN. I can email the page into EN, but can't clip, even if the webpage is a .pdf.

Is there a workaround for this?

Not sure whether it is blocked by Safari, or by the WebClipper.

I have not found a setting to influence it.
