Home widgets side by side on the iPad

The Home dashboard on the iPad uses the mobile layout. All widgets are placed one under the other. This wastes a lot of screen space, because no widgets can be placed side by side.

Idea: Use a layout similar to the desktop dashboard for the iPad. Widgets can be selected to be narrow, medium or wide. In the basic grid, one wide, or one medium and one narrow, or three narrow ones can be placed side by side.

I don’t think Evernote has done any iPad specific tweaks with v10. I assume they have to make some OS specific changes for MacOS, iOS Windows and Android, but they seem to be ignoring iPadOS, and giving iPad users the iOS version. Running the Web version on the iPad does what you want, but introduces some other problems.

Technically the iPad has everything (screen size, processing power, etc.). What is lacking is a iPad specific version of the mobile client.

Not only to set up a better home, for many other aspects as well.

Seriously, I think it is great that you point out this issue as well now. Using the web version of Evernote on the iPad shows how the home screen should look like.
