Prorating possible for switching to personal, if paying via Apple?

Recommended Posts

All,

I am paying for my Evernote for a long time now via Apple. With the new plans now out and looking solid, I am wondering if anyone knows if I switch to an annual "personal" plan, will the difference between the old payment and the new be prorated? Or am I losing that old money, by paying for a brand new annual sub? If its the latter, I will wait until the end of the sub period to switch plans.

Anyone able to shed some light on this?

Thanks,

Nick

What are you currently paying for? You would be best to confirm with account support but I think the normal approach is to be charged the full amount for the upgraded sub followed by a refund of the balance left on your old sub.  I haven't done this via Apple so best to check first.

We had reports in the forum when it worked via iTunes. The new subscription was paid and taken off the iTunes balance. A few days later the unused balance from the old subscription was refunded to the iTunes account.

This was what users wrote here. To be sure, better to ask support:
