hdjoseph 1
I have a Fujitsu ix500 which is great and works fine but I want a second scanner for another location. I like the Fujitsu but wonder what anyone has found that is as easy to use and which is relatively inexpensive. We use Apple Macs. Thanks Link to comment
Level 5 Solution PinkElephant 7,915 Posted August 25, 2021 Level 5 Solution Share Posted August 25, 2021 Use the iPhone … For any heavier loads you will be disappointed by cheaper scanners. To scan a few pages the phone does a great job for me. For many pages you end up in the same category as an ix500, resp. the newer models ix1500 and its derivatives. Link to comment

Level 5 PinkElephant 7,915 Posted August 25, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted August 25, 2021 Even the scanner build into the app does a good job. As an external scanner I prefer ScannerPro from readdle. It has build in OCR and sends scans to specified notebooks, complete with a set of defined tags. As many workflows, so many options. Only downside: It is not free. Link to comment
