Tags note working on 10.19.2 version

SophiaSong

Idea

Just like what shown in the picture: the "Facebook" tag suppose to have 139 notes, however, when I click on the tag, it only shows 128 notes, the newer notes I created after updated the app are all missing!

I really need the tag working!!! I just bought 1 year pass and please don't do this to me😭😭😭

Hi,

This works! But is it possible that this issue can be fixed? it's not so efficient if I can't click on to the tag to go to the specific tags. Please let me know! thanks!!

See this thread.

I am noticing the same problem.  For instance, a tag that has 346 notes shows only 332 when I click on the tag name on an iPhone -- but all 346 show up on an iPad. Both have the most recent versions of iOS and EN. (346 also show up on the web version).  This discrepancy is consistent for all of my tags.

How are you getting more than 128 to show up on the web version? If I filter (e.g. by clicking the tag in the sidebar) I'm limited to 128. The only way I can get all the notes with a particular tag to show up is to use a tag:tagname type search.

The web client on my iPad does the same as on my Mac: When I click on a tag, it shows 128 hits at most.

Search produces all hits.

When I filter for a tag in searches, and then use a search that is found in all notes, all are found and showing.

The Mac desktop client behaves the same.

I'm running 10.17 in Android s21 and before that s20+. On both machines, I have the attached issue.

1. Notice how many notes are in tag "sentence completions" . In this instance, it is 20 notes

2. Open tag

Expected Result :See 20 notes

Actual Result: See 5 notes

Can’t confirm this observation on the iOS client. Clicking on a tag results in a selection with exactly the number of notes shown in tag view. The only observation I made on trying was that in one case the number in tags view was higher (9), but only 5 notes showed. When I returned to Tags view, the number there had updated to 5 as well.

But this happend with 1 tag only, and it autocorrected itself
