Level 5 Popular Post Shane D. 1,809 Posted August 25, 2021 Level 5 Popular Post Share Posted August 25, 2021 Hi all. I hope everyone is making the most of the latest features. I’m checking in today with an exciting announcement about a new widget that unlocks Home for many power users like you and a recap of the recent features we’ve rolled out that will help you do more of the things that matter most. First, the big news: We're making Home a destination for our power users with the new filtered notes widget. This is rolling out with Evernote version 10.20 (Mac and Windows) and 10.16 (iOS and Android) starting today. This widget (available with Evernote Personal, Professional, and Teams) makes it easier to see the content you need at a glance by choosing from a selection of filters, such as all notes with a task, all notes with a specific tag, saved searches and many more. It’s a new, meaningful way to keep all the content for a project, class, or workflow simultaneously front and center from the moment you open the app. We've outlined a few key use cases for power users, including GTD, workflows, and multi-project management in our latest blog post. To add the filtered notes widget, simply click or tap “Customize” in Home. Professional and Teams users can add more than one filtered notes widget. The filtered notes widget is our most recent feature designed to improve your Evernote experience. In case you missed it, here’s a recap of some other updates in Home we rolled out recently: Calendar widget - With this widget, you can connect Evernote and your Google Calendar to bring your schedule and notes together. Create notes for calendar events and access them quickly later, view your schedule(s) and event details, and open Google Calendar with a click —all from the calendar widget in Home. Tasks widget - Stay on top of it all by adding the Tasks widget to your Home dashboard. See your top 15 tasks, create new tasks, and edit or complete them—all in one place. Only tasks assigned to you show up in the widget. Add multiple versions of the same widget - One of your most-requested features is here. Level up your Home customization by adding multiple versions of the pinned note, filtered notes, and scratch pad widgets, with a maximum of 12 total widgets in any combination. Change the scratch pad color and title - By popular request, you can now change the background color (choose from pink, yellow, blue, and green) and the name of your scratch pad widget in Home. You can make these changes by clicking or tapping “Customize” in Home and then clicking or tapping the pencil “edit” icon on the scratch pad widget. Create new items directly from Home - The notes, tasks, tags, and notebooks widgets now have an icon at the top-right, so you can create a new entry with one click, right from Home. I look forward to hearing from you as you explore these new features. And, if you missed the latest from Ian Small, our CEO, you can read it on our blog.
