Akshay Dadhwal 18
On installing the latest version 10.18.3, the desktop app is not opening & giving the error 'Sorry, we’re having trouble loading Evernote'. I tries uninstalling & installing multiple times but of no use. Moreover, the lagging issue is always there which makes thing worse. Really fed up with this ..... Link to comment

Level 5 PinkElephant 8,105 Posted August 8, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted August 8, 2021 OK, this drops one option. There were reports about a similar problem, but all for the web client. The solution there won’t stick here. Try this: Go to the clients settings and uncheck „Keep all data when leaving“. Then log out of the client and quit it (from the menu, not by hitting close „X“). It does no harm to restart the PC now (not sure it is necessary). Open the client, log in. Now working ? 1 Link to comment
Akshay Dadhwal 18
Where can I find 'Client Settings'? & is this for the desktop app? Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,105 Posted August 8, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted August 8, 2021 This is for desktop. Settings is in the first menu of the several menu options. On the Mac this menu is called „Evernote“, maybe something else on Windows (File ?). Link to comment
Akshay Dadhwal 18
Ok. In Windows, we have Tools > Preferences > Save data at log out. I tried that & it worked😌. I hope there are no such issue in future. Thank u very much 🙏 1 Link to comment
Akshay Dadhwal 18
It's again the similar *****....app loading for ever & images not getting loaded. Evernote has now literally become a disgrace to the community of digital note taking apps. Becoming more & more frustrating with each update. Link to comment
