What you see is a sharing function that moves data from the web (Safari) to an app - any app. What is dropped in the apps import interface is not controlled by the app. The app only grabs what is in the inbox, and moves it inside. The situation is different on desktop systems, where WebClipper is a real software, that is installed as a browser extension. I use the function on iOS only to quickly grab a site, as a reminder or for the pure content. Good quality clipping I do on my desktop(Mac), using the „real“ web clipper. Link to comment
