Infinite incorrect password loop at step 3/4 of account deletion



After several failed attempts, I change my password to a REALLY simple combination, then ctrl+c and ctrl+v (so there's really no chance of getting it wrong) it into step 3/4 of the account deletion stage and I get "incorrect password". I have done this multiple times. Without email or chat support, how can I ever hope to resolve this issue?
